Terms and Conditions
Guests will be required to abide by the following terms and conditions, and those stipulated by Butlins. Failure to do so
may result in your party being asked to leave the site, forfeiting your holiday.
- Bookings can be made via email (bookings@gotoskegness.co.uk) or telephone (Tony on 07980295162 or Simon on 07966567594).
- The booking will be confirmed once a non-refundable security bond of £50 has been recieved, the address to send the deposit will be given once the initial booking has been confirmed. This security bond is in addition to the cost of your holiday and will be refunded and returned to you once the caravan has been inspected and any deductions have been made to cover breakages, damage, exceptional cleaning charges etc.
- Payment for your holiday must be made in full at least 6 weeks before the first date of your holiday.
- You will be issued with a booklet and guidelines for the Butlins holiday park when you collect the keys on arrival. Failure to comply with any of the park rules and regulations could result in being asked to leave the park immediately. Causing a nuisance or any form of unreasonable conduct will likely result in you being ejected from the park.
- The caravan must be vacated by 10am on the last day or your holiday to enable cleaning staff to preare the caravan for the next guests.
- Key collection is from Guest Services. The key must be returned to Guest Services, failure to do so may result in the loss of security bond. Key release will be at 2pm/3pm/4pm on the day of arrival in line with Butlins policy. Please state your expected time of arrival and preferred key collection time on your booking form. Butlins passes may be collected on the day of your holiday, before key collection times, to gain access to the Butlins site and facilities before check-in.
- The holiday price includes the cost of passes to the Butlins site, and use of gas, electricity and water.
- In the event of you being unable to take your holiday you must inform us by telephone immediately. If this is due to illness, accident or injury then we may ask you to provide a doctors note and formal notification in writing.
- For cancellations for any reason (including, but not limited to, sickness, redundancy, injury) we may ask for supporting documentation, for example employee / doctor / court notifications. In any case refunds will only be considered once notification has been recieved in writing.
- Bookings for all same sex parties are NOT permitted.
- Bookings are NOT permitted for parties with all persons under the age of 25.
- Cancellations recieved within 14 days of your holidat start date will be limited to 30% of the holiday cost.
- In the event of bookings made and accepted within 6 weeks of the start date then payment will be required in full (including security bond) within 7 days.
- All refunds are offered at the discretion of ourselves and although we will consider all factors, in some cases we may not be able to offer a refund. If you have any concerns regarding long term illnesses then you MUST make us aware of these at the time of booking and we may request special terms based on this.
- The price of the holiday does not include any form of insurance. We cannot accept liability for loss or damage to any personal items. Valuables are left at your own risk. We do recommend that you ensure you are either covered by your household insurance policy or you purchase additional insurance.
- No smoking is permitted in the caravan. Please smoke outside of the caravan if you need to do so. Smoking areas around the Butlins site are clearly marked.
- If the caravan becomes unavailable for reasons beyond our control then we will inform you and if you require will seek to find alternative accomodation for your holiday. If this is not possible then a full refund will given.
- NO PETS are allowed in the caravan.
- No ball games are permitted in the caravan park unless in the designated areas.
- The caravan must be left in a clean and tidy state on departure. Costs for additional cleaning may be deducted from your security bond.
- Please do not remove items from the caravan, any item removed will be replaced and the cost deducted from your security. Items of higher value than the security will be invoiced with additional charges for loss of the items and payment will be required immediately. Any damage to items or faulty times must be reported immediately to Butlins Guest Services.
- All rubbish must be taken to the collection area and put in the appropriate refuse or recycling bin.
- Vehicles must be parked only on the tarmac area at the side of the caravan. If you have more than one vehicle then preferred parking is in the main resort or caravan parking area. PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE GRASS, this can cause the ground to become waterlogged and destroy the landscaping and beauty of the park.
- We are NOT responsible or have any liability for any services provided by Butlins and therefore any cancellations or unavailability of any services or facilities. We will try to keep you informed if Butlins make us aware of any unavailability
- For health and safety, legal and security purposes Butlins must be kept informed of all people in the caravan or on the site. If a person not named on the sublet form is found to be staying within the caravan then Butlins will ask the whole party to leave and remove access to all Butlins facilities. Therefore it is the responsibility of all persons named on the sublet form to ensure your holiday is not forfeited in this way.
- We cannot be held responsible for change of facilities offered by Butlins over which we have no control. We will do everything possible to inform you of these changes if we are made aware of them by Butlins, but please check with Butlins directly to confirm specific entertaiment or activities.
